Yankee
Hello all, There are some books here that some of you may be interested in. I'm just starting to learn a little C/C++ and was looking for a start to let me know what it is all about. I have programmed in assembly and basic etc but that was back in the 80's so I am totally out of the game except I do know what a variable, array and stuff like that are. Anyway check these out. Some are pdf and some are html... http://www.techbooksforfree.com Now I have to go figure out how to convert pdf to html so I can cut and paste examples! ianw1974
pdf2html: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q...earch&meta= or: urpmf --name pdftohtml urpmf --name pdf2html depending on making convention. Or search using the gui app for package installation. It's available in Fedora 8 repos, so should be available for Mandriva 2008.
