Yankee
I installed kdeadmin ksysv and it got it from a repository. After installing if I go back and look at the package it says it came from the DVD. It is not on the DVD so I wonder what I have installed that I "think" is on the DVD. Is there any fix for this? I looked at urpmi.cfg and the sources look ok. Why does it think or tell me it came from DVD? Edited because: I forgot...it is 2007.1 (Spring). jkerr82508
rpmdrake in 2007.1 had a bug that caused it to always use the last repo defined in urpmi.cfg as the source for installed packages. In 2008.0 this has been "fixed" by simply not reporting any source for installed packages. Jim
scarecrow
Just use smart/smart-gui It isn't perfect (far from), but it works. I'm sick and tired waiting (in vain) rpmdrake being fixed.

I finally got rid of that F in kweather. You know, the F by the temp...took up too much space...I know if it is Fahrenheit or Celsius. I don't really need the icon...just temp...hum...I edited the source and compiled it. I just know enough to screw stuff up...not near enough to fix rpmdrake.
