ixoye777
Been using 07 Spring for a while now and love it. The other day I thought I would format my system and give the new 08 a whirl. Everything seems alright except when I try to log off. When I click on "End current session" it looks like it starts to log off then my monitor goes black and clicks into power saving mode (I guess), you know what I mean, when the green monitor power light turns yellow. Then it just sits there indefinitly. I have tried pressing every button on the keyboard, clicking the mouse, nothing happens. The only thing I can do it hit the reset button on the pc. Any ideas? scarecrow
I have tried pressing every button on the keyboard, clicking the mouse, nothing happens. Even alt+ctrl+backspace ? There used to be such a bug some time ago with KDM. I've encountered it in Mandriva, PCLinuxOS and, for a couple of days under Archlinux as well. I'm currently using Cooker at a Virtual Machine, but I cannot know, as I'm using XFCE4 as desktop environment and slim as login manager... both are working fine. ixoye777
No go! I tried out the alt+ctrl+backspace and I am still getting no love. Any other ideas? If I was the only one using the computer it would be no biggie but there are a few of us so it is necessary to log off and on while switching users. ixoye777
Don't worry about this issue. I am finding 2008.0 to be somewhat buggy and unstable. I am going to format my system and toss on my trusty 2007 Spring again. Thanks guys = ]
