Okay I have a question for everyone. I want to turn part of my hard drive into a web server for my website. Getting rid of my current website. I have a static IP address so that's not the problem. But I'm not too sure which software I should use for this.

If anyone has done this before I would greatly appreciate it if you would give me some tips and pointers on this. You can also email me these pointers also.

Thanks!

And always remember: "Damnit Jim I'm an accountant not a computer programer!"

If you are using Mandrake 9.0, there is a Quick Start Server Manual on your Desktop under Documentation->Mandrake. You might also want to look at the one for 8.2 which you can download from here: http://www.linux-mandrake.com/en/fdoc.php3 . These will help you narrow down any questions you may have for someone already running a server.

Counterspy.
