arctic
Which package version do you use? (There have been updates available for Firefox lately that fix various problems)
Shadowchaser
Here you go Arctic Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20070914 Mandriva/2.0.0.8-1mdv2008.0 (2008.0) Firefox/2.0.0.
arctic
If you have changed themes etc. on your desktop, try with renaming the .mozilla file in your home directory. Segmentation faults are caused afaik by either bad linking to underlying libraries or by broken config-files (e.g. due to fusing customized fonts). I run the same firefox-version and it works okay on my systems.
Shadowchaser
Tried that, still getting the same problem.. I have notice if I double or triple click on the icon and open multiple instances.. One will work while the others crash. This is a Fresh install not and upgrade in case anyone was wondering.. I know how sometimes upgrading can cause more problems than it's worth :) .
