Chris H
I need to whitelist some modules to get the suspend working on my laptop, as well as change a few other parameters. On Debian systems I can tinker with /etc/apt/acpi-support to get everything working properly. Can't seem to find such a file on Mandriva. Have found kpowersave but it doesn't offer the options I need, What file should I be editing? Ta. Mandriva 2007 spring
ianw1974
Have a look at what acpi packages you have installed: rpm -qa | grep -i acpi and then, what you can do, if the package is acpid for example: rpm -ql packagename replace packagename with acpid and whatever the file is called, and it will list what files are part of this package, then you can probably hunt down the config under /etc.
