ixoye777
I have a few divx titles that I would live to convert and burn onto DVD so I can sit on my couch and watch them on my TV. I tried K3B but it doesn't seem to have that function. Is there an app that will do this for me? When I used Windows there was a great little app called "Convert X to DVD", something similar would be excellent.
scoonma
Check out avidemux or kino. There are most likely qt-library (i.e. KDE integrated) based apps, too.

I use ManDvd application to convert divx to DVD, you can select pal or ntsc output. Version: 2.4-1mdk2007.1.i586 Also DVDAuthor (using Qdvdauthor for GUI)
ianw1974
I've used ffmpeg from the command line to make it compatible for DVD support. Then you just need to use something to author the DVD from the mpeg file that is created with ffmpeg from the divx avi. Not tried dvdauthor, but expect it would do the job fine. Kino wouldn't do anything with avi's or mpeg's for me.
