Greg2
I like the font you use in a terminal. What font is it? Eterm uses monospace fonts by default, so I guess they're DejaVuSansMono.ttf set in the /usr/share/Eterm/themes/Eterm/theme.cfg to 'font 2 fixed'. sjaglin
Here's my new (and shiny) Mandriva 2008. This time I thought I'd give Gnome a go. Very nice, I ll have to try to do something similar with the "branches" leading to folders and IP on the intra-net, excellent. As previously mine is a shot of my Mandriva 2008 (recently installed from one so not much of a looker yet!), notice as well the link via VNC to my zaurus C-860! sjaglin
Hi, I couldn t see much on our forum about the screenlets which come with the latest Compiz-Fusion. I know some people are about irritated about 3d desktops but hey, there is room for everybody! It seems that there are now three main casts of Linux users : -1 The "I only use command line cause it's faster, efficient, never crashes...." and looks clever! -2 The "I use 2D desktop 'cause it's faster, I don t need the toys and widgets to invade my screen" -3 The "Waow looks it's cool it turns wobbles flashes goe up and down and OOOPS, it crashes!!" Ah AH , only joking, anyway here is my desktop at the moment, Orion as a wall paper, a couple of screenlets (urpmq -f screenlet for the name of the pachage), my new KDE launch button (Tux/Tintin...). I posted it on : http://www.flickr.com/photos/14512880@N08/1803652348/ Stef ;)
