Flying in economy class doesn't have to be a miserable experience.

To make flying more enjoyable for its passengers, Singapore Airlines Ltd. is adding bigger screens, more in-flight movies and a PC, running Red Hat Inc.'s distribution of the Linux operating system, in every seat on its newest planes.

More at Linux World.

You know, I've only been using Linux for couple of years [give or take] starting of with Mandrake, just before it became Mandriva, and to see the transformation that it has made in that short time is quite amazing, and not just in the OS/Distro's themselves, which is amazing in it's own right, but the acceptance that Linux has, is gaining, things like this, and more offerings of Linux pre-installed on PC's etc, it all bodes well for the future I think.
