busted
I am currently running Mandriva Spring "Free" which i obtained from a computer magazine but having a lot of problems with the program sticking and crashing etc. So i have decided to purchase the boxed version of Mandriva Spring and would like to find out if it would be possible to install the boxed version of Mandriva over the "free" version. Thanks for any help/advice.
ffi
The free and boxed versions are the same except that the boxed version comes with extra (proprietary) software, installing it probably won't solve your problems but I would backup my /home and do a clean reinstall anyway matbe the magazine version's disk was corrupt..... busted
So i could just place the boxed version's dvd/cd into the drive and let it over write the previous install?

busted
Another problem that i have had with the current install is that i cannot access any websites belonging to my ISP "Tiscali" and i am hoping that the new install using the boxed version of Mandriva Spring may resolve this? ffi
I can access my ISP tiscali.nl but their website is either terribly buggy or purpously exclusive, to correctly view them with opera I have to mask as FF else I will get a 404 error..... :o
