Guest drodrig Posted July 11, 2007 Report Share Posted July 11, 2007 I recently installed the new compiled kernel provided by MDE (2.6.21). Unfortunately, after this installation, my system became very slow and unable to be an efficient multi-task environment (Firefox + anything else give an incredibly slow system). I decided to come back to the last stable Mandriva kernel (2.6.17-14). My system is now as efficient as before. I use Mandriva 2007.1 (spring) plus MDE packages. This is the first time I am disapointed by a MDE package. Did somebody else try this new kernel ? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
