scarecrow Posted June 17, 2007 Report Share Posted June 17, 2007 Has been quite a while... see the release announcement: http://www.yoper.com/announcements/yoper-3.0/ I made an installation from the slim CD on a typical VMWare machine (2 CPU, 1 GB RAM, 18G HD) and my impressions are very negative: - The ncurses based installer is very crappy: It does not give you the option to install to custom partitions (it only accepts / , /home and swap), and does not give you any option to choose packages. - It does not boot at all after installation (Grub menu does not appear at all - I tried both ext3 and Reiser partitions).
