mindwave
Anna, I have used several different versions of mcnl, but last night for the 1st time i did a remaster with Toronto. EXCELLENTLY DONE. that is an awesome bit of writing. its smooth and slick, and most of all, works without thhinking about it! the only suggestion I would make (have to have at least one dont I?) and that would be to allow the user to enter an alternate name for the remaster. I know I know its a minor thing, and I can (and always did) use the CLI and name my own, so i know it can be done, but your GUI scripting is so well done..... I remaster a LOT and tell the diffeences by the time/date and thats what i use in the titles to my ISO's but like I said, its a little thing, so i'll quit crying know and keep clapping. bravo! chris:b
:D , mindwave. thanks for the compliments. I also think that Toronto is not bad. Actually we have almost no bugs. I promise to post the new script with the option to choose your own iso name when you promise to not call me anna B) I need to talk to the admins here if it is possible to rename/change my nick. --chris Edited June 15, 2007 by anna
mindwave
[i promise i promise. I thought that you specifically chose to use a different name here as opposed to mandrivaclub.nl so as to keep the 2 straight for some reason. but again, you have me as a fan. j
chris:b
Ok, here is your script ... Start MCNLive. In the panel, in the mini cli, type: kdesu /usr/local/bin/mkremaster-advanced See, what you get
Guest gb63
chris - I just posted something in the TrueCrypt forums where I referred to your response to a TC user ( not me ). I referred to anna as 'she'. Now I see you are chris - - - - Please let me know what is a proper pronoun in your case ( please don't say 'it' ....).... :D
chris:b
That's ok, gb 63. Last time I checked I was a woman. Chris is my real name, the admins are about to give me a new nick. :D
chris:b
Just for the record. I am not planning to change my gender, i am a bit conservative, in this regard. Thx to the admins of MUB for my new nick Edited June 15, 2007 by chris:b
Guest gb63
Don't worry - Just looking at the photo you have chosen convinces me it would be unwise of us to suggest changing your gender...
