aerogate
Exactly ;) Just one CD, install the OS and you're done! :D Couple of questions, someone might know the answers. The board supports SLI mode, where you can insert 2 identical graphics cards and link them via supplied "Gold fingers" cable. It say`s in manual that its only supported in Windows. Not that I want to use this feature, just curious if it works in Linux. Next one is tricky to explain due to not knowing the correct terminology..... In windows, there is a program that makes both cores work at same time, or manages them to work more efficient, i suspect this is built into Linux kernel? as it seems pretty efficient to me viewing the cpu usage of the cores in gkrellm Mike
iphitus
nvidia? I think we have basic SLI support. But it's very basic, you wont get much of a kick out of it, definitely not worth bothering with a second card for.
aerogate
Cheers for info, most Linux users are not gamers, including me, so rightly so, I just like playing a few games via Cedega, Hallf Life 2, Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2 and GTA Vice City. Oh and Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 hehhe. Nothing there needing SLI But if someone programs full SLI support, can only be a plus.
