Starting a mixer applet (be it Xfce's, gnome-volume-control or gnome-alsamixer) results in errors (No volume control GStreamer plugins and/or devices found"). Aumix-text says 'error opening mixer'. I am reasonably sure that this happened after installing yesterday's updates, which included a.o. an upgrade of gnome-media (link). Anybody with suggestions for further analysis and/or resolution of this problem?
