And a couple more seconds with the "add software" tool gives a selection of likely-sounding packages, like xchm, kchm, gnochm and so on. studmuffin007 Posted May 17, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 17, 2007 kchm works, when i posted i looked in the "add software" in mcc but when ever i chose something it came back with errors, so with you listing the packages i was able to install them until i found 1 that works. scarecrow Posted May 17, 2007 Report Share Posted May 17, 2007 chm is just compressed html, using proprietary Microshaft algos, and (under windoze) activeX malw... err, I meant components. Under Linux, you can display them with "kchmviewer" and print them to pdf using the embedded KDE printer driver.
