"I do not want to position Ubuntu and Linux as a cheap alternative to Windows," Shuttleworth said in an interview with eWEEK following the May 1 announcement that Dell plans to preload Ubuntu on some consumer machines... Shuttleworth are using different meanings of the word "cheap". cheap = inexpensive OR cheap = crappy Or, also possible, M. I have to disagree. There is nothing cheap or alternative about Linux. It is a superior replacement, an upgrade if you will :).
