Arvin Juan Posted May 15, 2007 Report Share Posted May 15, 2007 I am trying to install the ieee80211 subsystem components but when I execute the make command, I am getting this error: Checking in /lib/modules/2.6.17-13mdv for ieee80211 components... make -C /lib/modules/2.6.17-13mdv/build M=/ieee80211-1.2.17 modules make[1]: Entering directory `/lib/modules/2.6.17-13mdv/build' make[1]: *** No rule to make target `modules'. Stop. make[1]: Leaving directory `/lib/modules/2.6.17-13mdv/build' make: *** [modules] Error 2 Can anyone help me on this. Because I'm trying to install the driver for my wireless device (Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG). Although ieee80211 subsystem is already installed, it cannot be found.
