emmanuel_uk
--noclean option is fine with urpmi but sometimes I really want to use drakrpm *and* I do not want the cache to be emptied upon rpms installation I have posted a thread and solution for 2007.0 http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/sh...ad.php?t=349112 I poked around the perl code and some of the draklib and perl modules in /usr/lib but I have not find a solution yet (greping has been unsuccessful with clean and noclean; I also tried to locate where the "removing blabla" string is coming from when installing a package with drakrpm launched from a terminal (in this case drakprm is a bit verbose in the terminal) I must be looking in the wrong place, and I am sure other people would like a solution to this. I have not tried olddrakrpm... There is a packet called ack which is only 25 kb that can be used to install/de-install to check the behaviour in the cache
