tech291083
Hi, Can any one please tell me what application I need to use in order to burn a cd/dvd on Fedora Core 5 32+ bit os? I am new to it. Do I need to download and install any open source application that works with Fedora 5 core? If yes then what are the steps to achieve so. Many thanks..... theYinYeti
For KDE, I recommend K3B. For Gnome, I recommend Brasero. Both will allow you to burn anything to any CD or DVD (not HD, yet). Neither will allow you to author a SVCD or a DVD (or if it does, it will be very basic without a menu). For authoring, vcdimager (SVCD) and dvdauthor (DVD) are needed. You'd then probably use a GUI front-end of your choice. Yves.
Reiver_Fluffi
I tend to use K3B, irrespective of desktop, seems to be the most robust out of the lot of them...
