Terabyte Hard Drives

I don't know about you, but I certainly couldn't afford to buy 1 Terabyte of flash memory...

 

And I get the impression (just an impression, I've never seen any stats) that the current USB keyring thumb drive things do have a tendency to suffer from sporadic fits and data loss. Maybe the future drives will have safeguards or higher quality or something to prevent it happening so often but I've heard enough stories of corrupted USB keys to worry about it being used as a primary, permanent storage medium.
