janet.doe
Hi! I have a HP nx6125 laptop. I'm using Mandriva 2007.1 spring and like it very much. Pretty much all that I need is working (even broadcom bcm4318 works perfectly, finally), but one little thing - integrated memory card reader supports 5 different card types, but doesn't read both my cards, only SD-card works. XD-card is one of those five types that this reader supports, but I can't get it working. Is there anything to do to get XD-card to work too? Card reader is Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Integrated FlashMedia Controller. Thanks. -jd
adamw
sorry - the driver only gives us support for SD cards. no-one's written a driver that works with other types (including XD) yet. :(
scarecrow
Same problem here and no solution- blame it on TI. At least there are a few VERY cheap USB XXX-in-1 chinese cardreaders which work under Linux right out of the box (...almost).
