2007.1 Problems

I've found a couple of things that I can't find a work around for in 2007.1, the first of which is when I select an application to install in MCC and the application has dependencies the dialog box comes up to tell me so, but, it is empty. Only when I proceed to apply do I get a list of dependencies. I can put up with this but it only came up with a clean install of 2007.1.

The other is when I use the metisse desktop I am unable to get kdetv to fire up, it complains about being unable to grab the video and that I should adjust the settings for the v4l2 plugin. I've tried all there is, to no avail. Also when I come to log out of metisse I only have the option of ending the session, no restart nor shut down option.

Other than these the distribution is a credit to the team.

Any ideas anybody?

This happened for me too, it seems to be fixed in testing.

Please try rpmdrake-3.62-1mdv2007.1.i586.rpm from testing - it's been reported to fix this. If it doesn't, please do file a new bug.

Work's fine. Thanks.

How do i get this rpm? Should i add testing mirrors to urpmi or is there another way?

I just downloaded it from a testing repo, and installed it with the software installer.

But you can add testing to urpmi.
