ilia_kr
How can i set the default FireFox theme? In 2007.1 FF comes with Crystal theme and it seems impossible to switch back to default. Edited April 20, 2007 by ilia_kr
daniewicz
Well one solution would be to run the version of firefox from mozilla.org. It appears you are running a version of firefox from the repositories instead? Versions from the repositories have been altered by the folks at Mandriva. Not always a good thing. misfitpierce
Double click the crystal theme... restart firefox.... then double click default theme and restart firefox... Its like stuck or something. Weird. I did that and it worked fine.
scarecrow
Maybe it's the old issue... Run once Firefox as root, do nothing, shut it down. Now run it as user. Checkout the permissions of the local ~.mozilla folder. Everything should be owned by "ilia_kr", not by root.
misfitpierce
Well he's saying he wants default theme and if you look crystal is on by default and if you double click crystal it will ask you to restart firefox for changes to take effect. Once you restart you will be able to double click default and restart. Works fine.
