My question is, how can i view and edit all services that start on boot? Mandriva and Fedora have a gui tool for that, but here I can't find one. Please help me with that. Thanks. tyme Posted April 17, 2007 Report Share Posted April 17, 2007 I'm not at an Ubuntu box right now, but IIRC you should be able to find it under System > Administration > Services from the menubar (this is in Ubuntu [GNOME] not Kubuntu [KDE] ) Some people prefer using BUM (Boot Up Manager) which should be available for install from the software manager, IIRC. arctic Posted April 17, 2007 Report Share Posted April 17, 2007 You can try rcconf, which you have to install from the repos. It is a ncurses based manager for system-services.
