I'm using it since several days (it's exactly the same as RC4), compiled from source. Running great.

How long did it take to compile? In Gentoo they have a binary and that's what I use so I've never compiled it from source.

Approximately ninety minutes, with no compiler cache used (when using compiler cache the build goes much faster, but the computer is unusable for anything else), on Core 2 Duo 6600 with 2 GB DDR2/667 and approx. 6.5 GB HD space needed. I used an Aurbuild (the most convenient way you can build packages from source on Arch Linux- pretty close to the Gentoo way of building). By the way the official Arch package is also made from a binary currently, but this will probably change soon.
