Guest kamikazimatt
Hey, My friend and I are pretty much noobs to linux. My friend owns a server and has PCLinuxOS (mandriva knockoff). He has already installed tightVNC-server, but when he tries to run it, it boots (with errors, I'll get them if needed) but he nor anyone else can access it. Does anyone know how to correctly set up a VNC server? If not, do you know of an alternative to VNC? (need it for stuff like adding bootup commands which I don't know how to do through a console) [moved from Networking by spinynorman - welcome aboard :)]
Guest kamikazimatt
why did my post get moved here? this deals with networking. I just need to know why the remote computer will not accept my connection.
