Gul Dukat Posted February 27, 2007 Report Share Posted February 27, 2007 Hi, yesterday I've installed VirtualBox on a Fedora Core 6 pc. All went OK. But I can't seem to get the program started. So I've tried to start it from the commandline, to see the problem. This is what I get: VirtualBox /opt/VirtualBox-1.3.6/VirtualBox: error while loading shared libraries: /opt/VirtualBox-1.3.6/VBoxVMM.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied Just ot set the record straight. I've installed the appropriate kernel-headers and kernel-devel. And I've also added the user to the group vboxusers. I hope someone can help me ot here. Thanks in advance. Gul Dukat Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Share Posted February 27, 2007 OK, I've found out that it doesn't start because of SELinux. After disabling SELinux I can start VirtualBox. But I would prefer to enable SELinux. What would I have to do or change in SELinux to get VirtualBox up and running and let SELinux to stay active as well?
