spinynorman
After thirteen years as a loyal Red Hat and Fedora user, I reached my limit today, when an attempt to upgrade one (1) package pitched me into a four-hour marathon of dependency chasing, at the end of which an attempt to get around a trivial file conflict rendered my system unusable. arctic
13 years with RedHat and he hasn't learned a lot, as it seems. I like this reply. http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-deve...y/msg01014.html And that reply is sweet, too. http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-deve...y/msg01009.html

tyme
Sounds like a case of someone thinking they're so important as to effect peoples choices in distribution. The only need for such a "public" change is, well, a publicity stunt of sorts. We all know Eric has a knack for being flamboyant. Sometimes I wonder if he's really just an attention seeker, but the thing that bothers me most about him is that he thinks everyone else needs to do what he thinks is right, and nothing else.
