willisoften
The latest version of Kpilot 4.39 (Branch) supplied with 9.1, works really well. At last I can synch with AvantGo without resorting to the prettier but somewhat clumsy Evolution. Way to go! Billy boy, your days are numbered. fuzzylizard
How does Kpilot work? I have used evolution and jpilot, but I have never used kpilot. I opened it up and noticed there is no calendar with it, however, there is a tab called address viewer. What does it use for its calendar? Also, how do you get avantgo setup? willisoften
Open KPilot Settings Configure KPilot Settings Configure Conduits There does seem to be a problem with KCalender crashes when trying to view to-do list :( AvantGo was already on my Palmtop from Windows so I just configured the Mal (AvantGo) conduit
Guest Linz
What kind of cradle are you guys using? I have a USB cradle for my m505, and I have barely tried kpilot and it didn't sync with my palm. After some effort I have now got jpilot to sync with it. I would appreciate it very much if someone has a tip so I can get the usb cradle to work with kpilot...as it is more integrated with the rest of the kde suite. willisoften
I have USB cradle for my m505! Settings Configure KPilot Set Speed 115200 Don't think I did anything else in 9.0 you choose a connection type. There is a setting for USB m505 but I don't think you have to in the new KPilot. Guest Linz
I got it working...(actually, it was already working) The HotSync's was so quick that I didn't think it was complete. Well, I hadn't set up any conduits yet, so that's why it was so quick... Darn...so it is that easy to set up kpilot?!?!?! Cooooool :-)
