Hi all,

Somehow I've lost the functionality of my windows key. More exactly, till a few days ago when I pressed the windows key on my keyboard it poped up the kde menu (aka start menu). I don't know what I did, but it doesn't do it any more. I looket in KDE control center at keyboard shortcuts, but I can only set the windows key as "meta key" - to use it in combination whit other keys.

Any ideea about how to restore original functionality?

Thanks.

I added that line to my xorg.conf, restarted X, KDE, but nothing has changed. WinKey still not pops up start menu.

Here is my entry from my xorg.conf file:

Section "InputDevice"

Identifier "Keyboard1"

Driver "kbd"

Option "XkbModel" "pc105"

Option "XkbLayout" "us"

# Option "XkbOptions" "compose:rwin"

Option "XkbOptions" "altwin:left_meta_win"

EndSection

I tryed outcomment XkbOption lines, or comment them ... either way it is no change. :wall:
