I just installed Mandrake 10.0 and my sound (onboard Intel AC97) only plays through one speaker. Also, when I try to watch a video, the picture is there but only static for sound. Artemis Posted February 7, 2007 Author Report Share Posted February 7, 2007 The computer is actually a few years old. Its a pentium 3 1ghz with 192mb of RAM. I was afraid my computer wouldnt support a newer release. I have actually solved the one speaker not working issue. Artemis Posted February 7, 2007 Author Report Share Posted February 7, 2007 This is why I like Mandrake 10.0 I can use both KDE and GNOME without any signifcant speed issues :) I'm still learning so my biggest issue is finding software and configuration.
