Anyway, how do I enable the 3d settings on my nvidia graphics card and what files do I need to use the 3d features? tyme Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 The "how to" forum is for FAQs and howto's and is read only. :) Yes, we now prefer that FAQ's and howto's be posted on the wiki, but since your post was a question and not a how-to/FAQ - as in, you were posting a question, not an answer - it wouldn't have belonged in that forum ;) (as that forum is intended for answers) As far as your question, the first thing you need to do is be sure you have the nvidia drivers. You can get them at nvidia's site, or you can add PLF-nonfree (or various other repo's with them available) to your sources (see the easy-urpmi link at the top of the page) and install the nvidia drivers through the Mandriva Control Center -> Software -> Install Software.
