Backup FreeBSD

Hello,

I have a drive with FreeBSD running on it and want to make a backup of it. I have tried to mount it in Mandriva 2007 but it fails to mount. I am totally new to linux and am probably doing something wrong so if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it.

I tried backing it up in windows using norton ghost but as I thought, it didnt even recognize the drive.

FreeBSD uses UFS2 for a file system.

 

ufs-linux is really old and hasn't been updated for a couple years, plus it is only read.....support

Do you have only one pc at home? Is FreeBSD/Linux/Windows all on the same box?

 

If so, FreeBSD can mount fat32/ntfs and you can write to it.
