epretorious
I just installed Mandriva 2007.0 and had to manually navigate the Rpmdrake package heirarchy in order to inidvidually select the ~80 installed packages that required updating. What happened to the option to select "All"? ianw1974
I'm not sure on this one, they did change the new package manager, and am not sure of it's features. There's two commands you can use from the command line: urpmi --update --auto-select this will only use the update repositories, to well, just apply updates :P urpmi --auto-select uses all media repositories added to the system and installs newer versions of packages as well as updates. epretorious
urpmi seems to have been replaced by urpmq and urpmf.
ianw1974
Nope, it hasn't been replaced. Urpmq queries the rpm database for information. Urpmf finds packages, and urpmi installs them.
