ianw1974
And make sure webmin service is running: chkconfig --list webmin make sure it's on for runlevels 3 and 5, if not do: chkconfig webmin on and then: service webmin start to start it. Of course, if it's got "on" against runlevels 3 and 5, then it should be running already, unless you've not rebooted since installing it, then do the service command to start it. dh2k
fantastic; https://127.0.0.1:10000 is now working. Looks like my quest for a faster boot-up had some undesireable effects, my edited /etc/rc.d/rc5.d directory has been restored from backup and all (default) services start during boot now! I am still getting: The connection was refused when attempting to connect to 127.0.0.1:8888 when trying to connect to http://127.0.0.1:8888 (freenet from www.freenetproject.org), hmmm?
