aRTee
I'm out of ideas for this one... A mere Fn+F2 crashes my system, whereas it should just switch to the external vga connector. I have SLED 10 on this machine as well, there it locks up the graphics, but I can ctrl-alt-backspace to kill X and login again. In Mdv2007 it's a hard lock. It's a bit silly, but ah well, alt-sysrq-h or alt-sysrq-b will also instantly terminate a Linux system, so it's not like there shouldn't be any 'forbidden' keystrokes. Anyway, as for debugging, I've kept track of /var/log/messages and /var/log/Xorg.0.log but nothing shows up. Logging in via ssh doesn't help btw, the system is really dead... no response to the keyboard (caps/num lock or even alt-sysrq-resuib) so that's out too. I have no idea how to go about debugging this one - I would like it most if this key would just do what it's supposed to... Any hints, tips, ideas?
