jethro
Hi everybody, I am running Mandriva 2007 for a few weeks now, and I have the habbit of updating the system quite regularly. Two days ago I ran an update with: urpmi.update -a urpmi --auto-select After that my wireless connection is extremelly slow if working at all. When I ping to my router I get around 90% packet loss. Pinging outside doesn't work at all. If I try to visit a website it's extremelly slow, most of the times it doesn't even load. I have an Atheros chipset and I use the madwifi drivers. I connect to my router using DHCP, there are some snippets of log files. Nov 26 12:25:09 localhost kernel: ath0: no IPv6 routers present Before the update of my system everything was working out great. I am not sure which packages are updated (perhaps I can check this somewhere?) although I am sure it had to do something with HAL, because HAL was stopped and started during the update process. When running Windows my wireless connection is fine, so it is not a problem with my ISP or something. Does someone out there know a solution for this problem?
