No, not really :P Since Vista isn't out for consumer purchase yet no one has much experience with it. Heck, not many people here will use it when it comes out anyways :P

Could you post the contents of your /etc/lilo.conf file please? specifically the portion you wrote for booting vista.

actually this happens now: when i want to boot Vista or Xp, i select the windows label, then Vista Bootmanager asks me if i wanna boot Vista or Xp, then appears WinXp bootmanager...

i just want to insert vista and winxp in lilo directly

Are you certain of your partition labels? My system made hda2 an extended partition which contained other partitions. Using /dev/hda2 does nothing if it is extended. Also, I do not know that vista needs to think it is primary. I would configure the xp boot loader to offer xp or vista. So, you would initially select xp and then choose vista. But, since I have not played, I do not know how to counter-act the evil vista.

OK. I would consider checking ms for setting up the xp bootloader, and then going there from lilo. I am certain that this would work.

hi, my lilo is properly configured with linux and windows xp, but, since i installed also windows vista ( :o ) , i want to insert it in lilo screen..

i can't use the same string i used for xp because vista says something like "bootmgr not found"...

have you got any suggestion?

Read this article and see if it helps.
