learning C

Recommended Posts

I'm taking a programming course at my university where we learn the basics of C. We should use Windows and the old Borland TurboC++ 3.1.

1. I like turboC, but I'm using mostly Linux so i want to be able to code in it. So far i've tried Kdevelop and Anjuta. Is there something else more similar to turboC? With a good visual debugger?

2. In DOS you can run a program like this:

C:\xxxx\ hello-world.exe < input.txt	> output.txt

How do i do this in a Linux console?

Thanks.
