Guest jools Posted October 18, 2006 Report Share Posted October 18, 2006 Hi All, I'm running Mandriva 2007 as a Domain Member against a Redhat EL4 PDC. During the set up stage I set the Mandriva box to authenticate against NT4 domain and it joined the Domain fine. If I run net getlocalsid DOMAIN-NAME it returns the correct SID and wbinfo -u and wbinfo -g return lists of users and groups as they should. If I try to run getent passwd of getent group instead of a list of users and groups on the the domain I only get local users. This means I can't authenticate UNIX users on that server which is a pain 'cos I'm using it to authenticate egroupware to PAM. The winbind uid & gid ranges match on the server and PDC but it doesn't seem to be working. Any clues, Cheers, Julian Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
