bonebags Posted October 14, 2006 Report Share Posted October 14, 2006 im trying to get a few of my windows games to run on linux (mandriva 2007 free) ive managed to install rollercoaster tycoon 2 and its in the C:program files list in wine but im getting the following error message when i try to run it [john@localhost ~]$ wine RCT2.EXE wine: could not load L"c:\\windows\\system32\\RCT2.EXE": Module not found [john@localhost ~]$ winecfg Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0". err:wgl:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo couldn't initialize OpenGL, expect problem s err:wgl:has_opengl Intialization of OpenGL info failed, disabling OpenGL! Guest Blakkie Posted October 23, 2006 Report Share Posted October 23, 2006 Not sure about the OpenGL errors, I'm having real problems with that too, but with the intial "could not load" error, you need to be in the same directory as the file your trying to run. To do this you can: cd ~/.wine/drive_c/ you should be able to navigate to the directory that you installed RCT2.EXE to from there and then try running the wine command again.
