CarlJF
Is there anyone who to know how to install/change themes for Compiz oin Mandriva ? Many themes are available (for example, Wombat theme) but it's look like they nide some theme manager for Compiz (Beryl, CGWD, compizthemer...). Haven't found any of theme for Mandriva. Are they installed by default ? Are the package available from some dark corner of the net ? [moved from Software by spinynorman]
Mhn
compiz isn't themeable, you can just change colors as I have understood. compiz-quinnstorm/beryl on the other hand is themeable via gcompizthemer.
ffi
compiz-quinnstorm/cgwd are available in contrib though if you install isn't available anymore, to work around first enable xgl/aiglx and then install cgwd, then it's matter of playing around a bit with starting them up... Guest Dietrich
SO how do you change the colors? This orange is horrible!
Bobbert
upgrade to beryl and install emerald-themes, it has like 25 themes. Get rid of compiz and compiz-quinnstorm, it is old (2 months is a long time to me) and has way less options than beryl. SO how do you change the colors? This orange is horrible!
