Guest Phillip W. Posted October 13, 2006 Report Share Posted October 13, 2006 First off, I'm following the FAQ on emulation at this site. I have the four disk free Mandriva installed. I ran into a missing package or two but quickly sorted out those errors. I now get all the way to linking, and it fails saying it needs lexpat or something. Here is my log: [root@localhost xmame-0.106]# make -f makefile.unix Linking xmame.x11 ... /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lexpat collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [xmame.x11] Error 1 a) What is lexpat? b) How do I get it? c) Do I already have it?
