you need a link....

 

you should have a libgpod.so.somethingorother, you just need to make a link libgpod.so.0 that points to the one you have. i.e.:

ln -s /usr/lib/libgpod.so.0.1.2.3 /usr/lib/libgpod.so.0

Also, be sure you have libgpod-devel installed (yes, there is a difference between libgpod and libgpod-devel)

Okay, new problem...is there a way to get amarok 1.4 without having to go through loads and loads of dependency downloads?

uh...probably not. you have to have all the packages that it depends on installed.
