DragonMage
Typical Microsoft Marketting speak XBox is basically a specialized pc. Think an Intel compatible cpu mated with NForce motherboard (maybe the vidcard is a bit better than GF2, but probably not much) without the bloatware called M$ Windows. Believe it or not, PC actually have more raw processing power than any of the consoles that is out right now. It's just the OS and the API that sux. If you cut down the compatiblity problems, I think you can cut out at least 50% of the programming time.
mtweidmann
The xbox is just a PC with the ability to change of the parts taken away. Shame I don't have one though, wouldn't mind trying to get MDK to work on it. :)
johnnyv
i realised that that was bs! It was afterall from micro$ I laugh as i see articles about affordable linux clusters where you can get 10Gflops for around $150,000 us!!! 80Gflop in an xbox indeed!
