dexter11
The 3D window manager which has probably the biggest hype/interest in the Linux world, Compiz, has forked. Among the reasons are the poor communications with Novell's Compiz developer David Raveman; and the former patchset, which was compiz-quinnstorm (which is in Ubuntu), has changed too much from the original Compiz. It's easier to maintain their own fork now, they say. The project is called Beryl. For more details you can read their short and a longer announcement. source: hup.hu
