daniewicz
OK here is my workspace. W2K box on the table. Mandriva 2005 box on the floor. Both are connected to a KVM switch and an old school 21" CRT. Note the UPS on the floor. Sorry if the workspace is not messy enough
neddie
Sorry if the workspace is not messy enough Don't worry, I think the "scariest bookcases" prize is safe with you...
arctic
Errrmmm... why? What's scary about it?
daniewicz
What is scary about my bookshelves? Is it the engineering/math content or the effeminate shape of the shelf on the right side? I am still waiting for someone to comment on the ridiculously old HP IIIP printer. :o Edited September 19, 2006 by daniewicz
neddie
No, nothing to do with the shape of the shelves, just the titles on the books. Like two, looming towers of complicated engineering and materials science, just the overwhelming mass of details and diagrams and formulae, stacked up waiting to be read and learnt. To someone who doesn't know those subjects it looks like an impossible amount of complex information to try to fit inside one's head, but I guess for the owner they're all just familiar old friends... I have lots of books myself, just not any of those ones!
RVDowning
I am still waiting for someone to comment on the ridiculously old HP IIIP printer. :o Can't. I have an older HP IIP Plus printer. (It will probably outlive me, and I'm healthy.) Edited September 19, 2006 by RVDowning
daniewicz
Like two, looming towers of complicated engineering and materials science Actually, there are two additional bookshelves not shown in the picture. Now thats scary. I have an older HP IIP Plus printer And that is even more scary.
