acegap
i have to "ensure that gcc.make and bc RPMs are installed" - anyone tell me how to do that? tia Edited September 17, 2006 by acegap
scarecrow
Open a root console (root password required) and type in: urpmi gcc make (although you will likely get a message that both are already installed). As for "bc" I'm sorry, but the only app with that name I know is an arbitrary calculator. Still if this is the one you need, you can install it the same way: urpmi bc needless to say, you must have set your urpmi repositories before that ( following the easyurpmi link at the top). arctic
Click this link and follow its instructions for setting up software mirrors. These mirrors will be used by your computer for software installation and system patching. http://www.mandrivausers.org/easyurpmi/index.php
