sjaglin
Hi there, When I configure my easyurpmi for mona using the website, if I select 2007-comunity I get only the sources for main and contrib. But mona is a version of cooker isn t it, so have I got to select cooker in order to get the other sources (plf and co)? Gul Dukat
I've also wondered what the "Community"-sources stand for and what in what it differs from the "Cooker"-source. I myself, choose the "Cooker"-sources, as I then also have the PLF-free and PLF-nonfree sources.
ianw1974
I used the 2007 community sources on my Mandriva Beta 3 (Odin), and I downloaded 1.2GB one day. Then I came in the next morning when it finished and it was telling me to update my repository. So I did this, and then had another 1.2GB to download! Yes, there's only main and contrib, I can only think because it's Beta/Release Candidate, and that's why no updates/plf, etc.
arctic
I always select(ed) "Cooker" in easyurpmi for 2007 (Compressed index. Fast and more than enough) and update the sources every few days. (urpmi.update -a && urpmi --auto-select)
